The video is organized like a filmstrip, where what appear as frames of a panoramic view of a room slowly moving across the monitor are actually separate camera takes from various perspectives. Within each “frame,” the same figure is shown in two or three positions. Presenting the figure in multiple ways within a singular field suggests the negation of the figure as a unified form in an environment of uninterrupted space and points to the psychological undertones that pervade the work.
