| Kristine Marx was born on a farm in Pennsylvania. She studied painting, poetry and philosophy at Sarah Lawrence College and art at Hunter College in New York City. She sometimes lives in Berlin and travels abroad whenever possible.
Kristine is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has written essays and reviews on film for PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art and The Language Exchange, a website hosted by Sarah Lawrence College.
She presently lives and works in New York City and Philadelphia.
